Relationships And Our Sacral Chakra

Part #2 of the free course "Chakra Info Series"

Relationships can be intimate, sexual, parental, friendships, family, work colleagues, aquaintances .... and then there is also relationship with Self.

With this chakra, its important to FEEL your feelings. There are some people that go through life with no feeling. Not being able to feel our emotions and feelings fully, can create blocks in our sacral chakra energy.

If you are angry with someone - feel the anger. Feelings and emotions are great points of opportunity for growth. When we are able to allow the anger (or whatever the feeling may be) to allow it to be 'seen' and 'felt' by ourselves, thats when we can acknowledge the painful energy that we have been keeping within ourselves.

You can use energy to get creative. Blurt it all out on a  piece of paper as you unleash your written genius or splash away with paints and colours as your artistic flare reaches its maximum.

Energy must be able to flow ...... or else it festers and becomes stagnant and toxic within our own bodies and our own lives. Let's take a closer look at the sacral chakra.

The sacral chakra is located below the belly button

It relates to our physical and material desires - creativity, procreation, feelings and emotions.

When the sacral chakra is balanced we can unleash our creative genius very easily and experience healthy sexual relations with a loving, compatible partner.

Imbalances can be caused by the experience of abuse, whether it be sexual, emotional or physical, either in this lifetime or past lives. Imbalances can also be caused by neglect, manipulation and by self -serving emotions such as guilt, self- judgement, putting down oneself or by child hood or societal conditioning. Be nice to yourself because one of THE most important relationships you will EVER have is with the person thats there when you look in the mirror. Love yourself.

Everything is energy and when we learn from our feelings and emotions and acknowledge them for the growth that they really can bring, then we tend to 'let go' of that heavy energy which allows our chakras to come back in to balance yet again.

When you FEEL a painful emotion, it's important to let it flow THROUGH you. Don't get caught up in it as it releases itself from your mind and your body. Let it go. Don't chase it. Don't follow it with your thoughts. It is what it is and its absolutely okay. Learn to watch the feeling thought as it passes you by.

When our sacral chakra is blocked we may experience guilt and pain about relationships and a lack of creativity and sociability

If you have relationships that are not so nice, take a look at yourself.

What part do you play in this relationship?

How do you act toward certain people? Be honest with yourself!

Are you feeling vulnerable and unloved?

If so, this feeling thought could be causing awkward or dysfunctional relationships and physical pain in the upper back area.

Remember, EVERYTHING is energy and everything is connected!

When you make a conscious decision to experiment with energy, you could watch all of the relationships around you change! You might find yourself quietly experimenting on family, friends, children, partners, prospective partners, work colleagues, parents, the man behind the counter at the corner shop and the lady at the bus stop every morning. Life is meant to be fun so have fun with it! When you are aware of the feelings that you have around different relationships, you also have the power to change them!

Sacral chakra blockages could cause infertility, menstrual pains,  inner conflict, sexual problems, instability, sense of isolation.

The sacral chakra is associated with the gonads, also known as ‘sex glands’ which are the testis in males and the ovaries in females

The sacral chakra governs your sex and urinary organs, kidneys and the circulation and reproductive systems
