Love, Depression And Our Heart  Chakra

Part #5 of the course "Chakra Info Series"

Love Unconditionally With All of Your Heart and Soul

There are certain loves in our life that can either lift us up to the heights of happiness and ecstasy, or drag us down into the murky depths of pain and despair. When we feel hurt during a friendship or any form of relationship with another person, we can often unconsciously put up a 'block' or a 'wall' as a type of guard to keep us safe from having our heart hurt again. This is completely understandable. After all, when we're IN the relationship, we can find ourselves getting very 'caught up' in moments with another person. It's part of being human.

We need to realise that by putting up a wall from being hurt again, is not really helping us at all. This wall could grow so strong that we never let our guard down to allow ourselves to open up to love again. This 'wall' could be the one thing that blocks all future loves and future friendships from being able to come our way. Oh my dear, that would be such a shame because another part of being human, is to be able to receive and give love. Those walls need to go!

Be nice to yourself as you slowly let down those guards. Feel the hurt and acknowledge it so that it can help you to grow. After all, we can either sit in a room surrounded by walls or we can pull those walls down and shout out at the top of our lungs - BRING IT ON! I'm here to Grow!

Cry through it if you must! Get angry through it and feel everything ........ and then it will begin to subside.

Remember, everything is energy and if you take a look at a 'wall' that you have put up from being hurt, that wall is actually an energy block. Oh boy! Energy blockages can cause so many things in your physical body and in your external reality as well. Get rid of those walls! Lets  take a closer look at the heart chakra.

The heart chakra is located near the centre of the breastbone, centre of chest

It relates to love - balance, love of others and Self, compassion, forgiveness, commitment and relationships.

When the heart chakra is balanced we can see the good in everything, love without condition and express compassion and forgiveness easily

Imbalances can be caused by a painful love experience which could stop us from opening up in case we get hurt again. Or it could be due to a misunderstanding of love. For example if we have learned to give love only with the hopes of gaining popularity or control of a situation.

When our heart chakra is blocked we could sabotage relationships, fear rejection, distrust others and experience loneliness

I remember loneliness. The loneliness I felt within myself helped me to sabotage any other relationships outside of my immediate family. I had no friends. I was too busy being sad to be able to attract any happy friendships. That heavy energy was so easy to get lost in.

Heart chakra blockages could cause immune system or heart problems including depression

The heart chakra is associated with the thymus. The Thymus Gland is part of the immune system. It creates what are called T-cells that help to keep the immune system active and operating smoothly.

The heart chakra governs the heart, blood, circulation, immune systems

Depression seeped through every cell in my body and every thought in my mind. I would sit in the corner of a room and cry for hours on end. My two small children would see this. My husband didn't know how to help me. I was a right mess ...... until I decided to change the way I was thinking which inevitably, shifted all of that energy that was holding me down.

When you are aware of the feelings that you have around different relationships, you also have the power to change them!
